• The physical description of the 1/f noise in parameters of different solid-state devices was been worked out. This description suggests the explanation of the experimentally found link between the intensity of the noise and the ageing of the devices.
• The existing statistical methods intended for the investigation of the nature of various types of the noise are essentially revised and modified.
• The computer-aided methods for the analysis of the spectral and correlation characteristics of signals in the systems of the generation and processing of the precision signals are developed.
